This glossary explains the filters and options you may see when running Reports → Report Central → Category: Sales in Rapid ERP. Filters control what data is included in the report.
Note: Filters only appear when they apply to the report and type you selected. Not every report shows every filter.

Report filters (A–Z)
- Billing Terms to Include — Include only jobs/invoices with selected payment terms (Net 30, COD, and so on).
- Category — The report area. Choose Sales for the reports covered here.
- Customer Type — Filter by customer classification (for example, commercial vs. residential), based on your company setup.
- Customers to Exclude — Remove specific customers from the run. Use Select More... to exclude multiple.
- Customers to Include — Limit the report to one or more customers. Use Select More... to choose multiple.
- Dispatch Group — Limit to jobs in a specific dispatch group.
- Equipment Operator — Filter by the employee tied to the job. On Operator reports this is the pump operator. On Sales Agent and Pricing Charged reports, the same control lists sales agents (the on-screen label still reads “Equipment Operator”).
- Equipment Size — Filter by pump/equipment size sent on the job.
- Equipment Types to Include — Include one or more equipment types. Use Select More... for multiple.
- Equipment Unit ID — Filter by a specific fleet unit.
- Excluded Equipment — Leave out a specific unit or equipment category.
- Exclude Credit Adjustments — Leave credit adjustment transactions out of revenue totals.
- Exclude Credit Memos — Leave credit memo amounts out of the report.
- Exclude Jobless Invoices — Leave out invoices not tied to a job.
- Exclude Tax — Show revenue without sales tax.
- Filter by Job Date — When checked, the date range applies to the job date instead of the invoice date.
- From — Start date for the report.
- Group List By — Controls how detailed rows are grouped on applicable detailed reports.
- Group on Interval — Break summary results into time periods within the date range. Choose Monthly for month-by-month totals or Yearly for year-by-year. Other intervals (daily, weekly, quarterly, and so on) appear in the dropdown when available.
- Growth Type — How growth is measured on Customer Growth Trends reports (options in the dropdown, such as revenue vs. job count).
- Holidays to Subtract — Number of holiday days removed from the work-day count in the period.
- Include Months — When checked on Customer Growth Trends, show month-level columns in the growth comparison.
- Job City — Filter by city on the job site.
- Job Site Type — Filter by how the job site is classified.
- Job Sites to Include — Limit to specific job sites for the selected customer(s).
- Job Type — Filter by job type configured in your system.
- Jobsite State — Filter by the state or province on the job site address.
- Line Items to Include — Limit to specific billing line items. Use Select More... for multiple.
- Max Equipment Hours/Day — Daily hour cap used to calculate theoretical capacity (often defaults to 6.00).
- Page Break On Group — Start a new printed page at each main group break.
- Performance Metrics By Revenue Category Only — When checked, utilization and performance metrics count only revenue-category line items.
- Range — A preset date period (for example, This Month or Last 90 Days). Selecting a preset fills in From and To.
- Reduce Revenue By Credit Memo amounts — Lower equipment revenue by related credit memo values.
- Report — How results are grouped (Customer, Job Date, Operator, Equipment Unit ID, Sales Agent, Yard, and others).
- Reporting Group — Filter by reporting group used to categorize jobs.
- Sales Region — Filter to a single sales region.
- Sales Regions to Include — Filter to one or more sales regions. Use Select More... for multiple.
- Select More... — Opens a picker to choose multiple customers, yards, line items, equipment types, or sales regions. The filter label may show a count, for example Customers to Include: (5).
- Separate By Yard Location — Split summary results so each yard appears in its own section.
- Show Jobsite Summary — Add a jobsite-level summary section on applicable Customer reports.
- Subtract Applied Credits on Sales — Reduce sales totals by credits already applied (common on Sales Agent reports).
- Subgroup — Add a secondary breakdown within the main grouping.
- To — End date for the report.
- Type — The layout or detail level (Summary, Detailed, Growth Trends, and other variants depending on the report).
- Type of Equipment — Filter by equipment category (for example, boom pump vs. line pump).
- Type of Hours to Use — Which hour basis drives volume and utilization (options such as billed hours vs. job hours appear in the dropdown).
- Vendor — On Ready Mix Vendor reports, filter by the ready-mix vendor tied to jobs.
- Work Days to Include — Which days of the week count toward utilization (for example, Monday–Friday only).
- Yards to Exclude — Leave out specific yards. Use Select More... for multiple.
- Yards to Include — Limit to one or more company yards/branches. On some reports use Select More... for multiple yards.
Quick reference — common reporting goals
- By month — Run a Summary report that offers Group on Interval, then set it to Monthly.
- By year — Same as above; set Group on Interval to Yearly.
- By operator — Report → Operator, then filter Equipment Operator.
- By sales agent — Report → Sales Agent, then filter Equipment Operator (sales agents list).
- By equipment — Report → Equipment Unit ID or Equipment Size, then filter the unit or size.
