Overview
Merging cities (to be found under localities) is useful when duplicate entries are created by mistake. This can happen when multiple users work on the same project or when a new city is added without checking existing records.
Merging duplicates helps keep your location data accurate and organized.
How to Merge Cities
- Open the RW Menu.
- Navigate to Localities (Cities, States/Provinces, etc.).
3. Search for the city you want to remove by:
- Locality ID, or
- Locality Name
4. Select (highlight) the city you want to merge and click Merge on the menu bar.
5. In the Merge Cities window, search for and select the city you want to keep (the destination city).
6. Click Save to complete the merge.

Important Notes
- The selected keep city will remain in the system.
- The merged city will be removed, and its references will be transferred to the kept city.
- Make sure you select the correct destination city before saving, as this action may not be reversible.
