Overview
Rapid On The GO! has been introduced with a new functionality in the Clock-in and Clock-Out department. Previously Employees were only able to simply Clock-in/out. The latest ROTG version brought in Clocking Labels and Clocking Comments for more functionality.
Benefits
Clock-in Type can be useful in situations where Employees get paid different rates for different type of jobs/activities i.e.. training, maintenance, work on home yard/customer yard and so on.
Specifics
In order to enable this functionality in Rapid ERP go to:
- Company --> My Company
- On The Go! Settings --> click Advanced button
With this feature you can enable two ways of input for the Employee using ROTG app
1. Choosing a pre-defined Clocking Label
2. Typing in his personal Clocking Comment (this can be disabled by unticking the "Allow Operator to manually type in clocking comment" box as below)
- Clocking Labels can be added/edited as needed by clicking on the rows as shown in red. You can change their order using the blue Up and Down arrows.
- Clocking Comments are not pre defined and will show up in Clocking Comment column in green.
Comments can be seen in Human Resources --> Crew Central under the Clock In Comment and Clock Out Comment.
As well as in Human Resources --> Clocking Logs under Clock In and Clock Out:
From the Rapid On the GO! perspective once the Employee opens the app and clicks on Clock In he will be presented with:
- Clocking Comment option in red (only available if box "Allow Operator to manually type in clocking comment" has been ticked in My Company Advanced settings)
- Comment Label in green
- Same counts for the Clock Out screen
In case Clocking Comments have been disabled Employee will be able to see the pre-defined Clocking Labels only:
