Overview
The user has the ability to modify label descriptions for line items generated through the pricing scheme. These labels are adjustable at the pricing scheme, pricing sheet, and individual invoice levels. Furthermore, these labels are visible in both the Invoice Item List and the Invoice Printout.
Within the pricing scheme, all tariffs that determine invoice amounts are defined.
Users with the authority to alter pricing schemes require the Sales - Pricing write permission. More information about the different permissions can be found here
Specifics
Edit labels from Pricing Scheme
- Go to Sales - Pricing.
- Double-click on the desired pricing scheme or right-click and select Add New Pricing Scheme to create a new one.
- Type new description.
A tooltip is displayed when the mouse cursor is hovered over the Overage tier type.
If the checkbox Update Sheets is checked, it will automatically transfer all the updated labels in the pricing scheme to the pricing sheets within this scheme. - Click the Save button and a dialogue window appears requesting confirmation for the changes across all pricing sheets incorporated in the pricing scheme.
- Click Yes to confirm the changes.
Edit label descriptions from Pricing sheet
- Go to Jobs - Dispatch and double click on a job.
- Go to Invoice Information tab and open the Pricing tab.
- If a pricing scheme is not selected select one from the drop-down list and click the Load button.
- Click on the Edit Sheet button next to the selected pricing scheme.
- In the the Add/Edit Pricing Sheet window click on the Switch to Advanced Mode button.
In this section, you can view or edit the various tariffs listed in the Descriptions On Invoice grid. - Locate the Descriptions on Invoice grid and double-click on the Label column of the desired label type.
- Type new description.
- Click Save and the changes will be applied to the Invoice Item List and more specifically to the Description fields.
Edit label descriptions from the invoice
The user can change the label descriptions for a particular invoice. These changes will only affect the currently opened invoice.
- Go to Jobs - Dispatch and double click on a job.
- Go to Invoice Information tab and open the Pricing tab.
- If a pricing scheme is not selected select one from the drop-down list and click the Load button.
- Click on the More Options button.
- In the additional window which appears locate the Descriptions on Invoice grid and double-click on the Label column of the desired label type.
- Type new description.
- Click Close and in the Edit Invoice Information window click the Save to apply the changes.
The changes in the Label descriptions will be applied also if you click the Calculate button.
