Overview
Rapid ERP empowers dispatchers with versatile tools for effectively managing jobs and schedules across multiple screens, each tailored to offer unique perspectives, functionalities, and layout options. In addition to the main dispatch screen, dispatchers can seamlessly navigate through the timeline view, providing a chronological overview of job activities, and the summary view, offering concise insights into key job details at a glance.
Benefits
With the diverse views that Timeline and Summary screens offer in addition to the Dispatch screen, dispatchers can optimize workflow management, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and timely job execution.
Specifics
Timeline View
Now, the dispatcher can leverage the timeline view with the same level of functionality as the dispatch view. This includes adding new jobs, updating job statuses, modifying jobsite information, communicating with customers and crew members, printing job tickets and invoices, and a host of other capabilities. With the timeline view seamlessly integrated into their workflow, dispatchers can efficiently manage job activities and ensure smooth operations from a single interface.
- To access the timeline view of dispatch, select Jobs then Timeline View.
- If you have jobs scheduled for the day you are currently viewing, you will see a timeline layout of your jobs. The pump sizes encompass the rows, and the times encompass the columns. The jobs are displayed as a bar that runs along the row.
- If you wish to change the job time or the unit booked on the job, simply click and drag the bar to the desired location.
- To add a new job, simply right-click in an empty space and drag the cells to set time of the job.
Summary View
The summary view is not used for scheduling jobs, it is simply used as a summary way to view your jobs by the day, week, or month.
To access the summary view, select Jobs then Summary View.
- In the Day view you will see all jobs for that day, on a timeline. You may also open the jobs you see by double clicking on them or change the job time by click and dragging to desired date.
- In the Week view, you may double click on the job to open the job information.
- The Month view gives you a total summary of your jobs, paid jobs, non-invoiced jobs, yardage/meters poured for the day and week, billable hours for the day and week, On call operators, Available/Unavailable operators, and Out of Service equipment. This view is very useful for invoices to see how many non-invoiced jobs that are still outstanding. You may double click on the “Non-invoiced” row in the Month view to open dispatch central, and automatically navigate to the associated job.
