Overview
The Job Ticket Advanced Configuration allows businesses to fully customize the fields that appear on job tickets in the Rapid On The Go! mobile application. Fields can be reordered, renamed, enabled, disabled, hidden, or marked as required — giving full control over what operators see and fill out in the field.
Specifics
Navigating to Job Ticket Advanced Configuration
Navigate to Company > My Company.
In the left-hand menu, select On The Go! Settings.
Scroll down to the Job Ticket Settings section and click the Advanced button.
The Job Ticket Advanced Configuration window will open, displaying all available job ticket fields.
Configuring Job Ticket Fields
Each row in the configuration grid represents a field that appears on the job ticket. The following options are available for each field:
Title – The field label as it appears to operators on the mobile app. Click directly into the title cell to rename it.
Type – Displays the field's input type (e.g., Date & Time, Integer, Free Text, Signed Checklist). This is informational and cannot be changed.
Input – Shows the input method associated with the field.
Required – Check this box to make the field mandatory. Operators will not be able to submit the job ticket without completing required fields.
Disabled – Check this box to disable the field. Disabled fields remain in the system but are inactive.
Hidden – Check this box to hide the field from operators entirely. Hidden fields will not appear on the mobile job ticket.
Reordering Fields
To change the order in which fields appear on the job ticket, use the arrow buttons on the left side of each row to move fields up or down. The order set here will be reflected in the mobile app.
Saving Changes
Once all changes have been made, click Save to apply the configuration. Click Cancel to discard any unsaved changes, or Close to exit the window.
Note: Changes to the job ticket configuration will be reflected in the Rapid On The Go! mobile app after operators refresh or re-sync their app.
