Downloading and Accessing the RapidWorks ERP Database

This document outlines the steps needed to download and log into the RapidWorks ERP desktop application for the first time. Once you have the application downloaded and have completed the First Time Logging In steps below, you will be able to open the application from your desktop and just enter your password; the username and database ID will be saved.

Download the desktop application: 

Select the proper type of system and use the attached link. If your business is outside of these two industries or you are unsure which to choose, consult with your RapidWorks contact.

Open the proper link above and select the yellow Install button and follow the installation steps as outlined.

Note: If you do not see the yellow Install button and instead see the below message, it is likely because you are not on a supported Windows computer. If you are on a Macbook, you will need to purchase and download Parallels or a similar software that allows you to have a Windows-based session in order to run RapidWorks.

First Time Logging In:

The first time you open the application to log in, you will see three fields: Username, Password, and Database. The third field will likely say "Demo Company" the first time you open up the application. 

Enter the username and password provided by your RapidWorks contact in the first two fields. In the third field, select the drill icon, then the green "+". 

This will open up a new window where you will see four different fields. Only the first two, Connection Name and Database, will be filled out; the Branch Name and Branch Company Name can be left blank.

The Connection Name and Database ID will be provided by your RapidWorks contact. Enter these two pieces of information and select Save. 

Once the database is defined in the third field, select Login. Welcome to RapidWorks!
