Inventory

Purpose

The Inventory Module provides a centralized and organized view of all parts and materials managed within the system. It is designed to help users monitor stock levels, assess inventory value, and identify items that require attention.

Key Features

1. Complete Parts Listing Displays all inventory items with relevant details such as item name, category, and location.

2.Total Inventory Value Offers a real-time overview of the total monetary value of all items currently in stock.

3. Low Stock Alerts Highlights items that are below their stock thresholds, helping users take timely restocking actions.

4. Quick Search Bar located at the top of the module, the Quick Search Bar allows users to instantly locate specific Inventory being updated in real time as you type.

5. The Actions button in the Inventory Module provides several key functions to help manage and organize inventory efficiently:

• Add new inventory items to the system.
• Export to CSV downloads the current inventory list in .csv format for reporting, analysis, or backup purposes.
• Print QR Codes generate and print QR codes for inventory items, enabling faster identification and easier warehouse storage.
• Add Inventory Category create new inventory categories, which can later be used to filter items using the Category Filter button.

Inventory data can also be imported in bulk using a .csv file. This is done through the My Settings section:

• Navigate to My Settings
• Select the Import Inventory option
• Upload a properly formatted .csv file

This feature is ideal for onboarding large inventories or syncing data from external systems.
