Overview
When multiple equipment units are required on a jobsite on the same day, there is now an easy way to create additional jobs for each equipment unit required. This functionality works in conjunction with Multi-Booking and Repeat Job features.
Benefits
The process of multi-unit selection is automated by this feature, eliminating the need to manually enter job information multiple times. It streamlines the process of creating future jobs by using the Multi-Booking functionality.
Specifics
Assign multiple equipment units to new or existing jobs for the same date
- When adding new or editing an existing job, in the Add/Edit Job Information tab navigate to the Unit ID field and click on Add More to add multiple units.
- The fleet list will open in a new window. The main unit will be in bold. Select the ones needed to be added as additional units and click on the Use Selected button.
- Once the Job Information window is saved and closed, new jobs will be created for all selected equipment units for the same date, with all applicable job information transferred to each of them.
- If a unit has an assigned crew by default, it will be automatically selected for the new job.
- The main unit can be changed by clicking on Unit ID or the drop-down menu next to the drill icon.
- Once the Fleet List window opens, select the replacement unit by double clicking on it or directly clicking on Use Selected.
- An Action Confirmation window will pop up. If you click on YES, the main unit will be changed to the newly selected one and all additional units will be deleted. If you click on NO, only the main unit will be replaced, but the other units will remain selected.
Multibook jobs with multiple equipment units
- From Add/Edit Job Information window click on Multibook.
- In the next window, select the dates for the jobs. The same date can be selected multiple times if needed.
- Once saved, jobs for each assigned unit will be created for all of the selected dates.
Note
- To generate jobs for each selected unit for the chosen multiple dates, it's essential to check the Copy Unit checkbox.
- If Copy Crew checkbox is marked, the assigned crew for the main unit will be copied over, and the default crew for each additional unit will be assigned to the newly added jobs.
- If notes need to be transferred to the new jobs, mark the Copy Notes checkbox.
Repeat jobs with multiple units
- From the "Dispatch Screen", right-click on the job and select Repeat Job.
- This will open the Add/Edit Job Information window and will require you to enter the date for the job.
- Next, follow the steps described above to select all units needed for the job.
