How to create a work order (mobile app)

Creating a work order in the mobile app is fast and convenient. You can do this in one of the following ways:

Creating a Work Order from the Dashboard

1. Open the Dashboard in the mobile app.

2. Tap any of the available menu options.

3. Tap the “+” icon in the top-right corner.

This will take you to the New Order screen, where you can set up all the necessary details.

Creating a Work Order from the Work Orders Screen

1. Navigate to the Work Orders screen.

2. Tap the “+” icon in the top-right corner.

You will be taken to the New Order screen. Follow the same steps below to fill in the order details.

Filling Out the New Work Order

On the New Order screen, complete the following in the General section:

1. General Information

   • Select the Equipment the work order is for.

   • Enter the details about the order.

   • If the unit needs to be placed Out of Service, enable this option. Doing so will automatically set the equipment status to “Out of Service” in the ERP system.

2. Personnel

   • Select Reported By to specify who reported the issue.

   • (Optional) Assign a Mechanic if needed.

3. Attachments (Optional)

   • You can add photos to the work order for reference.

Once you have entered all the required information, tap Submit in the top-right corner to create the work order. The newly created order will now appear in the list of work orders.

Creating a Work Order from Scheduled Service

If a unit has assigned scheduled service plans, you can also create the work order directly from the Scheduled Service section:

1. In the New Order screen, click on Scheduled Service.

2. Select the Equipment from the dropdown.

3. Choose the Service plan you want to perform.

4. Tap Submit to create the work order.

Key Points to Remember

• You can create work orders quickly from multiple locations (Dashboard, Work Orders, Scheduled Service).

• Placing a unit Out of Service updates the equipment status automatically in the ERP system.

• You can optionally assign a mechanic and add photos to provide more details.
