Operating System Requirements for Rapid ERP / ROTG / RSR / Rapid Clocking

To provide a seamless experience, it is essential for users to be aware of the minimum operating system (OS) requirements for each application. This ensures that you can leverage the full potential of RapidWorks software. Read on to discover the specific minimum OS requirements for each of our applications.

Specifics

Rapid ERP 

Rapid ERP, our robust desktop application, is designed to enhance your business operations, including dispatching, accounting, and payroll services. Rapid ERP requires .NET Framework 4.8.1.

.Net Framework is a software development framework for building and running applications on Windows.

Windows 

- Minimum required version: Windows 10 October 2020 Update (version 20H2). (32-bit and 64-bit)

- Recommended version: Windows 11.

- Not supported versions: Any version of Windows including and prior to Windows 10 May 2020 Update
(version 2004)† , Windows 8, Windows 7, Windows Vista, Windows XP or older. Important: Our support agents will not be troubleshooting any issues on an unsupported version of Windows.

Windows Server

- Minimum required version: Windows Server 2022 (64-bit)

macOS There is no version for macOS. If you would like to use Rapid ERP on an Apple computer, you will have to do that through Parallels or alternative Windows 10 emulator. Please note that we would not be troubleshooting technical issues on macOS.

Rapid On The Go! (ROTG)

ROTG is the mobile application for users on the go. To provide the best in-class capabilities, we recommend that you keep your application up-to-date with the newest released version. 

Android minimum required version is Android 5.0

iOS minimum required version version is iOS 12

Rapid Service Request (RSR)

Rapid Service Request (RSR) is designed to streamline your customers' service requests. It's best if they have the newest version on their mobile devices.

Android minimum required version is Android 7.0

iOS For iOS users, RSR is compatible with any version of iOS.

Rapid Clocking

Rapid Clocking is the mobile time tracking platform for your employees. Currently, it is only available for Android users.

Android minimum required version is Android 7.0

iOS currently, Rapid Clocking is not available for iOS users. 

Customer Support

RapidWorks is committed to addressing any concerns users may encounter, ensuring a smooth experience, under the following conditions:

• The user's device aligns with the specified platform requirements. Older devices with lower processor or memory capabilities may compromise both performance and security.
• Users are utilizing the most recent version of the RapidWorks mobile applications, available on Google Play or the iOS App Store. Regular updates, delivering enhanced capabilities and functionality, are essential for effective debugging and issue resolution.
