Overview
The Payments dashboard provides deeper insight into all incoming payments, payout information, and transaction details.
Sections of the Payments Dashboard
1. Portal & Links Payment Summary
Shows all payments received without staff involvement - customers paying through:
- Payment links embedded automatically in emailed invoices
- The Customer Portal (for customers who have signed up)
2. Virtual Terminal & Processed Authorizations
Shows payments processed manually by your team:
- Virtual Terminal Payments — when a customer calls in and you enter their payment
- Processed Authorizations — payments collected from pre-authorized credit card holds
3. Payout Summary
Displays deposits to your bank account.
Each row includes:
- Payout ID
- Number of payments in the payout
- Payout total
Clicking a Payout ID reveals:
- Payout date/time
- Included payments
- Fee breakdown
- Payment details (amount, payer, method)
4. Detailed Payment Table
Contains three tabs:
Unsettled Payments
- Payments still processing (common for ACH)
Settled Payments
- Your full payment history
- Click a Payment ID to view full details:
- Payer
- Contact
- Amount
- Invoices applied
- Method and date
- From this screen you can:
- Download a PDF receipt
- Email a receipt to up to three recipients
Failed Payments
Shows any unsuccessful customer attempts, including error messages explaining why payment failed.
